Founded in 2018 by Manon Sailly, SAILLY Gallery champions an experimental approach to contemporary art, with a focus on emerging practices and long-term artist development. After six years operating under a nomadic model — activating alternative spaces in France and abroad — the gallery opened a permanent venue in the FAST cultural district in Romainville, north-east of Paris. This milestone consolidates its role as an incubator for young creation and reinforces its international ambitions.
The gallery is committed to supporting emerging artists with tailor-made guidance: close curatorial collaboration, sustained production support, and strategic positioning on the global scene. This approach is complemented by the launch of LA VILLA MATHILDE, an artist residency in Biarritz (Basque Country) created in June 2024 in collaboration with French artist Mathieu Chavaren, dedicated to research-led practices and immersive time for creation.
Expanding its presence in the region, SAILLY Gallery opened a showroom in Biarritz in October 2025.
Presenting six exhibitions per year — and developing collaborations with international galleries, art centers and institutions — SAILLY Gallery provides a dynamic platform for rising talents. This commitment has contributed to positioning young artists within the institutional landscape through museum acquisitions, public installations and curated exhibitions.
Active within a generation that challenges the boundaries of media and identity, SAILLY Gallery advocates for practices that redefine visibility, embodiment and narrative today. Its programme reflects an ambitious artistic ecosystem, rooted in experimentation and open to global dialogue.
